Biggest wheels I've ever seen on a G37:

What size do you think those are? 22-23s?

It certainly looks strange, however she nailed the fitment. Pretty amazing.

I can only imagine how harsh the ride is in those things on anything other than a creamy smooth road.

It looks like a knock-off Hot Wheels.

Hot Wheels came to mind for me right away as well.
Has there ever been a Hot Wheels G sedan? I've only seen a couple of stock coupe versions.

car crash

Hello everyone. I need help with two specific parts. They are the front right cv axle and the lower control arm. it is for my 2012 G37xS. I just want to make sure I order the right parts for my mechanic. Any help is appreciated.

I've seen a Japanese slightly larger scale sedan, but always in Japanese police car paint.

Never seen a hotwheels / matchbox G37 sedan. And I've looked.

That's probably a better question for the Tech section than the Chat thread, but...

There's a few online parts suppliers listed on here (qqv, google) that should let you figure out OEM part numbers, or you can go to the Infiniti parts counter and figure it out with them (they have excellent diagrams). For non-OEM look at rockauto. There really should be only one part number for front driveshafts and X-type LCAs.

Agree that Infiniti (or Nissan) parts counter is where I'd start. Sometimes their prices are competitive and/or you can find a 15% off coupon on the site. I'd probably stick to OEM for the driveshaft/CV axle and use a vendor like Mevotech (repackaged SPC) for the LCA.

^recently watched smokey & the Bandit, for the first time ever. I don’t know what was more quotable, Jackie Gleason or the CB radio jargon.

Was bummed to see the Trans Am wasn’t a stick!

Look at the Polstar 4 sporting gold seat belts.

Chinese EV with Volvo DNA and soon to be manufactured in South Korea.

Well guys, I sold my G today. It's bitter sweet but I did make sure the car went to a good home with people who had the same vision for it that I did. That makes me a rotary main now. It's been fun, cheers.

Hate to see it, but I understand. I've had thoughts come and go about moving on from the G to experience something new, but I'm just so attached to my vehicles! And its hard to let go of a unicorn.

You mentioned rotary... what are you moving on to?

I know, it’s crazy @backman_66. My vehicles feel like members of the family. I’m the person you dream about buying a used car from.

I saw a Subaru SVX in the parking lot today, in really good condition, dark red with black leather.

What a rare & unique vehicle.
