LMAO at this because my sig line still only says 2008 G35S or something like that! Guess maybe after 7 years its time for me to update mine too.

Congrats, btw, Nico! Great list of mods your starting out with there. From what I've rear and know you should be very happy with them.

It's a lot easier when alll your mods are familiar boltons, making the sig line a grab bag of 3-letter manufacturers and mod abbreviations.

I'm not much of a 911 fan (I'm not a rear engine car fan and already have a 1991 Porsche S2 Cab at home), but was looking for a buddy of mine. He ended up finding a 2009 997.2 Carrera 4S Cab 6-Spd with only 34K miles on it for $59K. He had to drive all the way down to Jim Ellis Porsche in Atlanta to pick it up (he lives in Cincinnati), but the car is pristine, so it was worth the drive. Now a Cayman GT4 would be more up my alley.. you should look into those. Or even a late model DB9 (after they got rid of the Land Rover engine LOL) or a Jaguar F-Type... I have a friend that has one of those and it has one of the best sounding exhausts I've ever heard on a car!

Very nice review indeed! Love hearing good things about Racing Brake products.

The guys at Racing Brake are very good guys and are fairly local to me here in SoCal. They used my car years ago for the test fit for their 2-Pc rotors, and we even organized the original Group Buy for their rotors over on G35Driver back when they were forum sponsors. I would recommend them and their products to anyone that interested in upgrading their brakes. Like Twin Sails, I've now got around 50K miles on the rotors and they have performed flawlessly and I have seen very little wear on them (although I have not measured them)... thank to TS for that! I'm now on my 3rd set of pads. One set was the Racing Brake pads like TS is running, but I found those to be a bit too grabby for street use, especially once they get hot, but to each their own... I'm now running my second set of Hawk HPS and absolutely love these pads. They stop on a dime, don't fade, never make a peep, and don't generate much brake dust. Not much I would change about them. Yes, the Racing Brake pads are provide more grip IMO, and if I was tracking the car I would probably run them instead.
Are you running the newer Hawk HPS 5.0 or the regular HPS?

I stopped at the gas station on the way home and on the other side of the pump was a black Genesis coupe. IDK if he was able to peer in, or heard the linkage when I shut down, but no sooner did I swipe my card than he was looking around the gas pump

"I've never actually seen a 4 door G with a stick"

We chatted cars while we gassed up. I complimented his Genesis, as it was really tastefully done, and the red Brembo brakes look great on them.

I've had more random people come up to me in gas stations to talk about my G than any other car I've owned. It's pretty cool

Hahaha... Very true. I look back at my old G35Driver sig line and it was completely different than what I would have now. So many new modifications and just too much stuff to list, plus a lot of custom work that isn't easy to list in a sig line, as you mentioned. My thinking is it's easier just not to list any of it. LOL

I haven't tried the newer Hawk 5.0's, but was tempted to try them the last time I swapped pads last Summer. In the end I just decided to stick with the standard HPS's though... figured why mess with something that works!

And I've been waiting over 5 months for my custom Cobra Misano seats. Although, part of that delay is my own fault, since I keep changing the design. LOL

I know what you mean, Tony... I've been dealing with my slipping tranny for over a year now and it's no fun at all!

on a mini vacation over here in Dallas TX...I've seen soooo many Infiniti G's rolling around... wish I had mine over here

good to see a lot of G37's in this part of town. I'm staying at the Sheraton in downtown Dallas and have seen two G37s' parked in the structure...one stock and one lowered with exhaust.... way to represent!

next stop - So Cal....

Just sent my down payment to OnEighty NYC so they can order my 2010+ sport bumper. Expecting to have it installed the last week of June.

WooHoo. How exciting. You can't go wrong with the OEM sport bumper... looks great IMO!

Apparently ONEighty's getting a lot of business today... I just sent them my headlight today as well!
