And Koni's are far, far superior to Monroe.
Hey Lego, talk a little about your STS again. How long has it been now? Any quirks, insights, surprises... anything?
And are you considering the Z1 tranny mount that 4DRZ installed?

I love it paired with the slightly larger 370Z ****.
With the **** you have...it will be short. Stubby short. I wouldn't like it.
Don't think of it as just a STS. Its a ****, boot and STS, and needs to be thought as such.
The Z1 trans mount is high on my list. The invidia is a quiet exhaust, so I have a lot of flexibility for increased nvh.
It was a cool car. The GT-S was even cooler, with its alloy wheels, fender flares, electronic fuel injection, and independent rear suspension.
Love to read your feedback on the trany mount before I get to it. As of now the plan is to do both at the same time.
Thanks for the status update, Lego.
The WC piston **** adds another 1"+ drop. It's drilled really deep for that reason. If I were ordering it again, I would have it drilled closer to stock so that it sat a little higher, but oh well.
2 issues I have.....
When driving in 4th with my hand resting on the shifter, my arm keeps hitting the seat heaters.
And two, it's more difficult to get into Reverse.
The mechanical action is awesome. Just be prepared to have to rethink your **** selection.

Er, not liking that. Tell me, is it more difficult period, or only with the engine on or off?
If it's a problem when the engine is on, I wonder if the tranny mount will address that?
Will do, Lego. If need be, I may see if Lathewerks can cut a similarly designed titanium teardrop, but 3/4" higher.

Deciding to get a STS, and deciding to replace the tranny mount... man, I wish I had an opportunity to assess these things hands-on, before taking a leap of faith. Fortunately I have guys like you to tap for honest opinions.
The RJM Pedal was a similar "leap", but holy cow did that work out well.

It's more difficult going into reverse because the shorter shifter and how you have to hold the **** to push down past the reverse indent and where reverse engages. Not much room for your hand.
Hopefully that makes sense. It's not the mechanism, and maybe its just me.

I hear bad things about resting your hand on the shifter. The weight on the linkage causing stress. Anyone hear about that?
