First car? I was 17 and the year was 1981... I bought a five year old, 1976 Pontiac Firebird for $1900. Car had 72K miles on it. Had it painted Corvette Orange and pimped it out proper like a good little suburban dumbazz.

See those wheels? Cragar SS w/gold centers! LOL

Been driving my dad's 2015 Z/28 the past couple of days. Had to drive it down from Williamsburg KY to here in Columbia.

It has just a hair over 1,000 miles on it. Just an absolute beast. 505hp/481tq with a 3.9 gear strapped to it. 1st gear is aggressive as hell. What a blast to drive. As a motorhead i'm so envious. It will be up for sale soon due to some medical reasons my dad's going through. Parking it in my sister's garage (her yard in the pic) with a cover so it will be in pristine condition and priced to sell quick (if anyone's interested when the time comes)....

That Z28 is a moster, but... I love that old Celica. Go figure.

Everything was blue except the steering wheel. It was a huge brown plastic wood grain Ferris wheel...

Put a 6 point wrench on and use the jack. Or a dead blow hammer. Not the same bolt, but I attached a pic to illustrate my point.
It crossed my mind, but it was clear I wouldn't be able to get the jack under the end of the breaker bar. I'll see what the price is I'm quoted at today. I've had the Hotchkis bars sitting in my living room for a month and I'm itching to get them on.

If I don't like the price, I'll just figure out a way to do it on my own. That's half the fun of modding your car, right?

I had a 1993 Acura vigor (Inline 5 cylinder) as my first car and kept it from high school to senior year of college. I got it with 120k miles and sold it at 213k miles. I did a carputer and retrofit with jdm 1 piece lights and tsx projectors on the vehicle along with a full house of color paint job with flakes and pearl in the paint. Last 2 pics are from the web.

yeah man, I got my 6MT 2013 sedan back in May of 2013 only 3 months before my 21st bday, and I did have to go in to service for something a month or less before I had turned 21 and I got the same treatment, I wouldn't get a loaner being still 20... it's pretty stupid if you ask me but what can you do... but it hasn't been an issue since then lol. Time is flying

what year is your sedan? I mean mine is 2013 and while I don't do many things on my car myself due to lack of place to do it, lack of skills/knowledge and lack of time in many cases, but I did my Hotchkis swaybars myself, well actually the front one because the rear was installed by my brother while I was gone getting my BBK powdercoated. Rear for sure is much more of a PITA due to the exhaust having to come off partially so you can put the swaybar in, but the front was pretty easy and I did it all by myself

I wouldn't care if the dealer wasn't 140 miles away. But I'm just dropping my car off on Monday and having a friend follow me and I'll ride back with him. Such a hassle.

I had that experience with my Genesis Sedan at 20, considering the Genesis line is supposed to get you 'premium service' I wasn't very pleased. Took a phone call to the dealership GM to get me a loaner. Turned out the car was a lemon and I was back ~10 times in the year I owned it for different warranty work and getting a loaner was never a problem after the first trip there.

When all of your interior trim gets covered in ice when parked outside, it's too cold.

If you have a Mavis discount tire near you they charge $90 plus take. The breakdown is $45 each one. That's how much I just paid to get mine on.
