I'm no longer the only G37 on the block. Neighbor guy two houses down just picked up a silver 6MT coupe.
The coupe's exhausts sure do sound good with moderate throttle up close

One thing that i will have no problem admitting is that the coupes sound beautiful even stock
And yes, if I had my G with that FI exhaust, it would have been something awesome to hear it in that kind of location late at night.
Anyway: here's a pic of the Chicago Skyline, taken from the bridge in front of the Shedd Museum:
See if you guys recognize these cars. Pretty sure you will, it's not hard because there is so much history to them. But I have to say, seeing them up close in person was a pretty cool thing.

Actually, I've seen the Studebaker often. Such a timeless design.

I like how there are blue-bike rentals everywhere. Next time we come to Chicago, I think we'd fly in and shuttle downtown. Then use the bikes to get around, within reason.
I will be running out of my Warranty by the end of this year. My car is an 11' Journey and I am about to turn 42K miles. Is there anything I should have the dealer look at? I was gonna wait another couple of years to go and have them check my oil pressure.

Must be one of those grass is always greener concepts. We live some miles NW of the city boundaries. I try to avoid going into chicago at all costs - too many red lights, traffic cameras, speed cameras, incompetent drivers, etc. Downtown is a nice place to visit though.
Enjoy your stay.

Actually not that bad. We arrived on a Wednesday at 5:00 pm, and clipped right along Lakeshore to the Radisson Blu without incident. And then we left downtown at 11:00 AM Friday. Based on my limited experience driving and walking around, I'm inclined to say Chicago traffic has a steady flow to it. NYC, Boston and Toronto are worse, IMO.
