Sedan Chat Thread
You'll definitely enjoy the sways but don't set them at full stiff in the rear. They are 3 way adjustable in the rear so you may just want to set it in the middle, semi stiff. I have a blast all the time hitting the onramps and out here in So Cal we don't have to worry about snow tires or all season tires for that matter. We can pretty much run summer tires all year long
The HFC's will make your exhaust much louder than what it is now but enjoy that too because i do. Love putting the windows down in tunnels and underpasses.
sounds so sick...my kids just love the way my Mia growls.

I've driven from San Diego to San Francisco a couple times on the 1 and through the mountains
one of my favorite drives for sure.
Go get you a garbage plate! Don't let them have the fun and food!! If you're up that way and can stop I highly recommend Sophia's just outside Buffalo and Duff's there in Buffalo.
Coffee Talk...
I'm going to meet up with Choman this weekend, Winter weather allowing. Take note of his sig line... with those mods and tune, his 6MT is putting out 40hp over OEM trim.
Yikes!
I may or may not take pictures. Two G37S 6MT Sedans covered in road-salt is not exactly a beautiful thing. It's extremely rare, sure, but not necessarily photo worthy.

Went with soft-front, and middle-back, having come to the researched conclusion that you only go aggressive if you're dialing in for the track. Figured once they go on, I wouldn't be changing things, and I haven't.
Of course, the only way to really know is to try different setting combinations and make up your own mind. And if that were something I could accomplish without crawling under the car over and over... meh. I'm a lazy old man.
We're meeting up for breakfast Saturday at this fantastic location on Seneca Lake in Geneva, NY. He's going to be in the Finger Lakes region for something, and asked if I could meet him half-way. I can't speak for you, but I suspect driving 250 miles for coffee and scones is an effort not well matched for the returns. Besides... snow tires, road salt, freezing temps, etc. Yuck.
Beautiful facility, though:
Belhurst CastleHere's an idea: if this Chat Thread continues to evolve, and forum friendships continue as they seem to, we can all arrange for a larger Northeast Meetup in Summer 2014. I'd make a road trip for that. Someone can wear an iPad around their neck, and Newt could FaceTime in for participation.

Sorry, Mike. It was Choman's idea, and a pretty spontaneous one at that.

If you guys do this and keep it somewhere between Rochester and the border, I'm sure a few of your neighbours might join in. I, for one, enjoy a Rock/Country concert and Ribs (Ribfest anyone?)
I was thinking for a Bills Game or a Holiday Valley ski trip but that won't work.

I've got a friend next door to you in Kitchner. We met through Maxima.org, and have both kept up contact since. He's come down to Rochester each of the last two years and we've spent the day at an AutoCross event. These days he's driving a supercharged 2003 G35 Sedan 6MT. It's pretty raw, and scary fast.
