Q50 Eau Rouge
I see what looks like the same shifter, and two pedals

Considering that the GT-R doesn't offer a manual, I'm somewhat skeptical that the 4 door Q50 ER does, considering the regular Q50 no longer offers it. I'm cautiously optimistic.
Rofl at you guys thinking Infiniti is going to offer this car with a manual. They already want to remove driver involvement by giving it fake steering, what makes you think you will shift your own gears? :P
What makes you so sure it's a manual? A leather shift boot does not make it a manual.

Dreams dashed.

Exactly, if they really would want they would get rid of Manual options all together. Sooner or later it will happen.

I'm not sure if you guys have seen this article but it sounds like the Q50 Eau Rouge will have a 7AT.

That's actually an interesting new article. The project developer gave a few insights that are new (at least to me) on how they determined how to go about the project. He said several times that this car was built with production in mind and not just a prototype for the sake of building a prototype. He mentioned that the power options considered were a SC version of the current 3.7L, using the 5.6L V8 from the Q70, and the 3.8 TT in the GTR and of course the 3.8TT won out. He said that it uses a different AWD system than the GTR has and that the 7AT had been strengthened to handle the torque. It uses all parts and electronics that are current Nissan inventory parts which hints very strongly that it is going to be produced. Interesting stuff.
