2009 G37x Backup Camera Problem

My camera a little under 3 weeks ago started having an issue. The image appears distorted and lots of static. I ran the "self-diagnostic tool" in the hidden menu and all connections are OK supposedly. Any thoughts as to what might be causing this?

If its under warranty take it to the dealer. It looks like some kind of interference. Did you remove the camera or unhook any of the wires? Maybe a wire got pinched somehow? Possibly a camera wire is loose? Did you install an aftermarket system (sub & amp), if so check the wires you tapped into if any? Did you drill anything in your trunk area including a rear spoiler? Did anything along the lines of the camera and wiring get wet/corroded wires? I cant really think of anything else. The only time I've seen a camera do that is during an earthquake or when theres lots of movement or vibration or when the battery is about to die.

The warranty ended less than a month before this started happening. They want $140 just to look at it.... That's why I posted here first. I didn't do any meddling around there, no aftermarket installs, everything is stock. I was thinking it could be engine vibration but it happens on and off. I notice it mostly on hot/humid days. It works fine 50% of the time.
