All Wheel Drive 2012 G37x

hi all,

newbie to the G37 world. Picking up my 2012 G37xS on the 16th of Sept. I wanted to know if anyone has any tips for me pertaining to this vehicle in terms saving on gas mileage, enhancements (HIDs) etc.

Thanks for the tips..

Gas mileage:
- Driving style could save you at least 1.5 mpg on city/highway. That would be the only thing IMO that could save you some gas
Enhancements (modding):
- This list is so big we could go on forever lol. All depends on your budget, lease/financed, and types of mods you would be willing to install on your car

i always try to cruise in 7th on the highway, if u keep the rpms low then u will avg pretty good mpg's, but u should also let the car rip

I have a 2011 xS ...want to get Hotchkis sway bars. I think that is the best bang for buck mod you can do right off the bat.

Also a tip I haven't seen anyone give: Get some silicon lubricant spray and spray the window track sides of all four windows. They get sticky and it really makes them fly up and down nice and smooth and need reset much less often...the auto up down I mean. Silicon is not messy and doesn't streak the windows up. Worked like a charm for me.

and enjoy ...love my car quirks and all. Welcome to the forum.
