Help with engine part

I was cleaning throttle bodies and broke off one end of this part that hooks up to the intake tube.

Part in red.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Can anyone help with the part number that I need to order?
Engine runs fine. What does this do?

Might try this, looks like #14 for the whole assembly, doesn't look like they sell just the small part (at least not this vendor). BTW, just put 2010 Journey for vehicle info

Not sure what part you broke (an actual picture would be more beneficial). I've used JB weld to reattach broken plastic motorcycle fairing pieces (from a tip over) with great results.

That's not good if I have to buy the entire passenger side intake hose assembly.

Here are the actual pictures. The small hose coming from the intake tube going to a small plastic box is broken at the box.

I used crazy glue to re-attach the broken plastic, but it was not up to the task to handle engine vibrations for long. I wonder if JB Weld/Epoxy will hold up better?

I think JB Weld makes a product specifically for plastic(s). I want to say its a blue and orange set of tubes vs the normal red/black

Ive also had good success with something they make that comes in a tube and looks like PlayDoh. You take a chunk off, knead it until its all one color then apply it to the broken piece to hold it in place. But I think the success of that product would depend on how much surface area you have to apply to

Check to see if your local NISSAN dealership will sell that part independent of the entire duct assembly. (For the 370Z.)

And if that doesn't fly, I think you would be able to buy that part (local or online) from a junkyard.

You could also put your OEM airbox back on, and take it into the dealership for a suspected "air leak" under warranty. You could say you located the leak, and tried to fix it yourself with superglue. Of course, that's mostly fraud, but...

You do NOT actually need this part with the Stillen.
Find a curved hose in a parts house to go from the tube to the PCV valve.

You can always go to a plumbing shop, and get a copper 90 degree elbow to replace the piece.

Thanks for the suggestion guys.

I'll check the junkyard and see if they have this part.

Otherwise I will do what TVPostSound said. Doesn't look like the plastic box has any function to it, I'll hook it up directly.
