It's June already, not a single review for Q50?

A review? Wouldn't that be summed up as: same car, different look.

That's the problem. Form all available pictures, the Q50 is too close to be a Luxus, MB, BMW, even Hyndai. The G still has a uniquely good and classic looking like nothing else on the road. Maybe I would change mind when I see one in person, otherwise it is pretty much a dud to me.

I would still be fine with some level of "me too" styling. But the lack of power-train advancement is a deal killer for me. I guess the good thing is that I'm not at all in the market right now. So, perhaps when next I am, they will offer something with some new and improved guts.

We'll see. Sales are king.

I agree much in the same way Acura found themselves needing to tone down the TL grille.
Precedent shows Infiniti will likely make a few changes to the front. Look how many variations there are for the front of the 2nd gen G35/G37 sedan.

I think a lot of you folks have your blinders on...

The Q50 is an all-new car.

Reworked suspension, reworked ECU mapping, reworked transmission software, lighter, wider, quieter, all new interior materials, all new available technology, a supposed MPG improvement, less NVH in the motor.

Can we stop being children and allow the reviews and the test drives to come before you folks all come out with "Same engine, same car"

Sheeesh.

Nope, that's too boring and reasonable. It's lots more fun to just preemptively throw shade at it from all angles apparently.

You know, I was also thinking of the word boring, but I suspect it wasn't in the same context.

Boy, this forum is going to lite up when the professional reviews start coming in. It's going to be fun.

Wish the guys over at Everyday Driver could get a hold of one early on. I just love their perspective on cars.

<---- works here for free as a volunteer.

But I do hope the forum remains profitable (I presume that it is) for the people that own it though. I kind of like it. Most days. And it's seldom boring. I guess that's a good thing.

Now click on same damn banners!!!!

I actually l like the banners. It's great that the forum knows what I've been searching for during the day and flash banners for hotels rental cars. So I do click on them...it's like having a personal assistant doing the work for me while I kill time here.

That was always my understanding, that mods were member volunteers, and only the site admin draws a commission from InternetBrands.

Saw the Q50 for the first time in person again tonight at my dealer's open house. Hadn't seen it since the unveiling in Detroit. Damn I forgot how beautiful this car is in person. Definitely think I am going to get into one of these in 2 years. Blown away. Cant wait to drive one.
