Questions N00b....

I have 2012 G37 Sedan

1. Is there a way to fully disable traction control pushing the button only partially disables the traction control, I want to be able to slide. i.e. when your angle exceeds more than like 5 degrees it still limits the throttle even with the button being pushed. I guess its a difference between stability control and traction control

2. Has anyone ever figured out how to get Android to work with USB port? Some usb drives I have dont work with it as well....

3. Does changing the exhaust or intake void my warranty?

4. How hard are lowering springs to install on g37?

I have more but for now we will start with these... Thanks...

1) Don't think so
2) Don't use them
3) Should not void warranty but may void a repair needed on a part that could be effected by intake &/or exhaust.
4) Simple if you've done suspension work before, just don't use harbor-freight spring compressors and be sure to grease the hell out of the spring compressor threads. PB Blast, 2 foot breaker bar, spring compressor, and an air ratchet and should be good to go.

android "mounting" wont work with this car. Get a 32gb usb drive

why would you want traction control off all of the time?

Do you constantly drift on the highway?

I hve a 16gb stick but it wont recognize it and I don't know why.... I also read that it will only recognize 500songs...

and not all of the time but I want the ability to turn it off when I want to have some fun on the slick pad... its to nice of a car to drift but I want to just take to slick pad to slide around a bit for fun.

To the OP, you don't specify if you have the navigation option or not.

For the nav model, it will read up to 5K songs across 255 folders IIRC. USB stick must be formatted fat32.

I'm running a sandisk cruzer fit 32gb in the car in the sig (with nav) and have no issues. have about 800 mp3's/6-7GB in use.

If your device is already formatted fat32, check your content then. Maybe there's some strange file names that are causing the system to falter when reading, or corrupted mp3's.

Thanks I have the non-nav version but I found a way to install a AUX port using the XM controller.

Also I figured out that the VDC is completely disabled but there is something built into the ABS that controls the car seperate of traction control that I have to disable abs to disable inorder to drift. Meh not worth the effort I'll just build another car. But the Aux port XM hack is a def must..

I don't get it, but when I turn off traction control in my car, it never limits the throttle for me. I can drive it like a car should be driven, and drift around corners.

I think it's certain flash drives. I also have the same issue with one of my 16gb HP flash drives. It's formatted to FAT32 and the car won't read it. I tried another 2gb Kingston flash drive with the same songs (files) and it played fine. Also, if I insert the 16gb HP flash drive into my laptop with the same files, it reads fine. Weird.
