I do not have the Carsmo's (went with the cheap eBay ones for now) but I can confirm it's a night and day difference and my favorite interior mod thus far.

There are just so many ways to save a few bucks and get 90% of the same result. Not for everyone, but definitely for me.
I've seen pics of the Carsmo ***** installed. Any picsss of these installed?

They actually fit much tighter than I thought they would. Sit all the way back as well; so there's no gaps or anything. Not bad as a placeholder until I decide to get the Carsmo's.

Not the highest quality photo, but you get the point. They're not bad. I may drop some money on Carsmo ***** in the future, but for now Im more than fine with these.

Is that the stone interior or wheat? I've been trying to figure out what the stone would look like with the wood trim and haven't had much luck finding photos with that combo. If it is stone interior could you post a few pics from further out (not such close ups) so I have an idea if I like it, I'd really appreciate it!!

Well, I have the satin finish wood trim and not the glossy. But you're right... maybe it would look better.

Wheat, they discontinued the stone unfortunately Stone has black instead of gray, and the beige is a lot more creamy white.

Yea I figured that was the wheat. I think the wood would look funny on my stone interior anyway. I've seen the wood/black combo in person and it looks pretty classy.

On a side note, I ordered those cheapy ***** on ebay. Hell for a total of $6.72 shipped to the door you can't go wrong. If I don't like em I'll pull them off and throw them away.

I think it would look good. BMW pulls it off

Im going to be wrapping my wood trim in a black laquer wood vinyl. Something like this. Going to match the new suede on the steering wheel im working on a lot better.

That's because the dash materials are properly black.

2009 was the last year for a G with a stone or wheat interior and a black dash.

On another note, here is another neat little poor mans interior mod. Since your choice of shift ***** for an automatic G is a B2 'shaft' or a $300 limited edition modified TK ****, this is a neat way to freshen up your ****.
(from what ive seen you can ask them for different thread colours and leather colours)

Is the stone interior also gray instead of black on the dark parts? Was thinking of my friends coupe with the black and gray interior, forgot his is 2008...

Exactly, the pseudo brown/grey dash plastics are out of place IMO. It took a few times looking closely at the interior before I bought mine. I finally came to the realization that was indeed not a shade of brown and it was a shade of grey. But to your point, yes, black would have been the proper color for Nissan to use with the stone interior as they did in the earlier years of the G.

On the bright side, the paddle shifter kit for the grey is half price of the black one hahaha
