2009 G37x sedan ..thank god lease is almost over...horrible car
It sucks that you had issues with your car, but you shouldn't let the lemon keep you from considering a Nissan/Infiniti again. I've bought 7 new Nissans/Infiniti's in the past 10 years, never had a single issue with any of them. I used the G as a daily for 3 years; a '10 that was totaled and an '11 that I no longer drive, but I can't quite bring myself to get rid of it. The G is an awesome car from one of my favorite automakers.
The new Q50 is worth a look, but maybe after they get their new mills under the hood (whatever those may be).

I used to have a 2009 G37X, was totaled couple of weeks ago. It was a good car, never had any major issues with it.
I picked up 2013 G37XS last weekend. Great car, great value, worked for me. It is not for everyone I agree.

1. In '03 my gf (now wife) and I were shopping the G/Z (I wanted the G, she loved the Z). She got pregnant, got a '03 Pathfinder.
2. 12-07, traded in the Pathfinder for a loaded '08 Limited 4x4, white w/red leather. It looked pretty cool.
3. 2-08, when she got the '08 Pathfinder I had suggested the Armada, but she didn't want something that big. Two months later she changed her mind. Traded '08 PF for loaded '08 Armada (everything except AWD/4x4).
4. I was ready to jump on board. 2-10, '10 G37 Journey S Coupe.
5. 6-10, traded Armada for loaded '10 QX56 (everything, even the free option of the second row bench).
6. Dingus guy totaled the '10 G, 10-10. After shopping, I couldn't find a package I liked better as a daily, replaced with '11 G in 12-10.
7. '11, the Camry I bought my mother in law new in '03 took a crap, got her an Altima (which they just totaled).

Ah... three people, a baby and an accident. I figured there was an interesting story in there somewhere.
I'm on my 4th Nissan/Infiniti product in the last 21 years. Wifey likes Honda.

If a 74 Datsun pickup counts I'm on my 3rd Nissan associated product

Look forward to a few more down the road w/ a carefully used GT-R on my bucket list for sure
It's not so much loyalty, per se. It's just that for the money and my particular automotive values at the time, Nissan had what I wanted. I never buy cars by accident, and I hang on to them for a while.
