can anyone recommend or if possible post photos of a car with stone interior with tinted windows (specify %)?
My prev car had a black interior and I had 35% tint on sides and rear and it looked nice to me, but I'm thinking 35% might look too light with the light grey/taupe interior now
TIA

+1 for 20% all around. Just got it done for my second G, Huper Optik ceramic film. Previous 2009 G had 20% as well. I had charcoal interior on both. I agree, with lighter interior I might go even darker.
I used to have 35% all around on one of my older cars, and I regretted not going darker.
As others said, dont go for cheap film, any savings will be marginal compared to how much you are going to hate it every day.

Got a quote for $200, sides and rear, 25% using 3M "FX premium" tint.
My area doesn't have too many reputable tint installers, so this one seems pretty pricey due to its reputation.
Like you said, a few extra bucks up front makes a big difference in the long run. Might shop around a little more though, thanks for the advice

This is 50% 3m Ceramic. I wanted good heat protection, but I wanted to be able to see easily at night. This works perfectly. The Ceramic has great heat protection which we need here in the Southwest.
Some prefer darker, and I may have still been able to see at night with 35% Ceramic. Its hard to say.
I was in a friends car last week and he had a dark tint. He couldn't see at night and parking was a PITA. I was really liking my choice then, even though the lighter tint doesn't look as cool.

I have wheat interior and %20.
It's light enough to still look classy but not too light to make you want darker.
I was really on the fence about it too until I saw. %35 on a lighter interior car while I was at the shop.
