Spare Key Fob Purchase

I am looking to purchase a spare key/fob for my 2009 G37x.

I have looked over several posts asking about the best place to purchase, how much the cost varies between different dealerships (for the key, cutting , programming), etc.

My question:
Does my current key have a "transponder" in it? and if so I assume my new one would need it too...?

Current Key:
FCC ID kr55wk48903
It has remote unlock/lock/trunk/panic

If anyone who has purchased a key for the same vehicle/key fob can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Also, how much did you ended up paying altogether.

I would like to purchase the key online if possible to save some money...but I am not sure which eBay or Amazon posts will be compatible with my vehicle/key fob.

Some options?

Finally, what do I need to watch out for when buying one?

Thanks

I lost a key fob. I paid $20 for an uncut key at my local dealer and I *think* about $25 for a fob on eBay. I took it to a local locksmith to program the fob and cut the key. I think I paid about $65 total. So my total was just over $100.

I'm not sure how much fob model years matter because my used fob came with the Infiniti clip thingy which was discontinued before my 2011 sedan.

Take the Metal key out of your FOB. Look in the slot for some gold numbers, I want to say its the 2nd set of numbers your are looking for, match the model number to one of those post. I'm trying to check my FOB right now but apparently i have gone blind because it all looks fuzzy.
