Settings changed after a dealer visit?

Hi guys,

Do you ever have all your settings changed when going to the dealer? Partially my fault for not having it set on a pre-set on the door, but still super annoying. They drive the car for 10 seconds to bring it into the shop, and yet the have to change my seat, mirrors, and everything else. Does anyone else get annoyed by this?

Side note - Does anyone know how to not have my steering wheel column move when turning on/off the car? It's not necessary, and didn't happen before I brought the car in today.

I know when I go to the dealer the only thing I have to readjust is turning my headlights back to auto. They could have had to disconnect your battery for whatever reason and some times that will reset your settings. To turn the steering wheel lift upon exit off go to settings, comfort and convenience, and then it will be an option in there.

press and hold the "set button" for 5 (or 10) second and that will deactivate the "entrance feature".

If you are 6'2" and the tech driving your car is 5'4" do you really want him straining tho reach the pedals and see out of the mirrors when he drives the car? The only thing normally changed on mine is the rear view mirror sometimes because it's not able to be set electronically in memory. Otherwise, when I walk up to the car and press the button on the handle, my seat, wheel, and side mirrors all go back to where they are supposed to be. Use the memory feature and this would be much less of a hassle for you. That's what it's for.
