stock y-pipe delete(true dual)

went into get my mufflers deleted and the guy at the shop gave me a good idea. told me to chop the y-pipe and make it true dual. and he said hell do it for 40 bucks.

the stock resonators will still be there so i doubt there will be rasp

has anybody done this before? any thoughts on this and how it might sound?

don't think you can just chop the y pipe. not like it's two pipes that's welded into one.

i wanna do it to get a lil more flow. because i heard that the ypipe is the most restricting part of the stock exhaust

do u have a video of how it sounds and is that the only modification u did to the exhaust?

Yeah I wanted a free er flowing exhsuat as well.

But what I did was 2.5 from mounting of cats to the muffler ...

I don't have a video, and that is the only thing I did as far as performance. Butt dyno, it feels quicker
