Impressed with Mercedes, LOL at Audi & BMW
A recent survey has found that German cars, including Audi, BMW and VW, are among the worst when it comes to engine failure.

C'mon bro are you serious.
Dealer cost and installation?? It's basically a flash tune... Plug and play? It takes like 20 mins.
Go with dinan stage 2 then, you don't need intercooler only stock one or stage 1. Dinan has 25 percent off sales 2 times a year and that's when people buy.
Stage 3 is for way aggressive. BMW offers this to most people when they buy their cars, I was offered one at BMW Dallas.
Jb4 is not a flash tune, it's different than Cobb and Dinan.
7500 for GTM ! Lolz! Whaaaa installed and all huh? That easy?
Yes I already said I can tell the difference about the sedans.
Your way off on a lot of things.

High Capacity Oil Cooler and High Performance Intercooler are required.
But if you want to pay that much more for a car without any real-world performance differences over a G37, it's your call.
Out-of-warranty repairs are notoriously high for the upscale German market. No thanks.
3 Series vs 5 Series appearance. Hardly any noticeable differences.
BTW, it's "you're".

Hey, you brought up Stage 3. And Dinan says themselves:

Sure, a tune is easier than a full-blown FI kit. That's obvious.

German cars are not as reliable as their reputation suggests.
That's one fact that BMW lovers conveniently forget. Taking one example of a survey from a F30 forum. Only 11.76% said no problem with their brand sparking new F30s. For a guy here who mentioned F30 328 can easily get 300 hp with only stage one tune, there's a bend crankshaft with just stock boost, good luck press more in there.

I can't imaging what people like you would say about if the subject was Infiniti instead.

Same, huh? It's not going to happen. It's useless to defend BMW as this is universal knowledge that anyone who has a pulse and common sense knows it.

Stuff that's been posted on this forum and have left people stranded.
I'm not defending BMW, but if you look at stuff long enough, no manufacturer is immune.
This is not about taking exams, these are real world issues reported by posters relating to the G. Infiniti, Acura, Lexus, Cadillac, Audi, MB are not immune to issues and recalls by any means.
So, imo, this is the pot calling the kettle...Nevermind, we won't agree on this.
I wanted to edit this post to add these are halo cars. It's like if a Bugatti had the same issue who really cares, other than 20 owners that are affected? That's a minor issue to say a car like the Prius for example was crashing into things and hurting people, cars and property.

A bunch of issues showed up (naturally) when direct injection and forced injection started being used extensively by Audi and BMW. These have been largely resolved in new designs. This includes carbon buildup (Audi & BMW), fuel pump failures (BMW), wastegate problems (BMW), etc. Again, all pretty much addressed and corrected over the last few years.
There's no indication of a reason to worry with current BMW N55 engines, or Audi 2.0 TFSI and 3.0 TFSI engines, for example - they've proven themselves to be solid over the last few years.
