2014 Sedan
2014 Q50 (G to us)
Found full pics of G replacement sedan , love the new look, naming is silly, but what really irks me is that no manual transmission being offered based on initial reports.
Guess I'll have to hold onto mine for a while. Bummer, I'll have to take my business elsewhere when it needs replacement.

Ok - I'm surprised no one mentioned this already.
Most new noses have to account for the new EU rules for pedestrian safety - so they will all resemble each other in one way or another.
I actually like it - and I had a 2008 G35S that I loved. Now have a 20123 EX and FX. Nto sure I want to trade - but maybe.

^^^ LOL. I sense butt-hurt in the Force.
Nissan does a mid-model refresh so regularly now it's pretty much an expectation. I expect the same for the Q50. For those of you thinking of sticking with Infiniti, and aren't making a move any time soon, waiting 2 more years might not be a bad idea.
I predict DI and CDT in the 3.7 for at least 3 years before they drop the engine altogether. Figure 2015 - 2018. Of course... just guessing.

Or to justify a premium over a poorly selling Hybrid at mid-model?
Or to improve sales, maybe?
Or just because they can.

IDK, man. Ask a lawyer. They're supposed to be pretty smart, as far as they know.
I was at the reveal today, and lll tell you guys that this car is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING in person. It has such a presence sitting there, the wheels are beautiful, the interior is like, a notch above the current M (its just fantastic) and the performance figures for that hybrid are going to be out of this world.
I have a 6MT Sedan and I'll proudly ditch it for a 7AT Hybrid model. Mid-2014 i will be upgrading.

And hey, what about those viewing numbers posted earlier of those viewing the Sedan section here--well over five times the average everyday peak! Most I've ever seen since joining this forum.
Somewhat petty thinking at this point, I know, but I can't help but think about another killer looking Infiniti front end getting ruined by those of us that are required to install front license plates. It hurts to picture it...but then some of us get away with not installing them...

How strict are they about front plates in states that need them?
Yea, it's been awesome lately. Wish it was like this all the time.
Some states are very strict, while some are a bit lax. CA is not strict, you'll see maybe one out of every 25 vehicles running without them, but you can get cited and it gives reason to be pulled over.
I am moving to Alberta this year. Can't wait to get rid of the front plate.
