Exactly what I did. I was so angry and felt steam coming off my head. I yelled "What's wrong with you?" He stepped toward my car...but then backed off a little. He yelled back "I'll beat your ..." My son was in the car and I would do what it takes to protect him from danger. If that guy had stepped closer and touch my car again, I would have stepped out to take care of business. I prefer not to go that route unless when I feel absolutely necessary. As angry as I was, I just ignored him and drove away.

I didn't know if my car was dented or scratched from the impact. Fortunately there was not a single scratch. Just a sticky mess. I washed the car and went out to dinner with my family. We enjoyed the rest of the evening and didn't let this event bother us.

Did the right thing and moved on. Getting into a fight would only bring more problems with the cops, especially in manhattan.

Some things are not even worth fighting over. So I've come to learn from experience... I would have probably grabbed my pepper spray and then got out of the car... Haha. Teach him a quick lesson!

I had a similar thing happen to me. I had a green left turn arrow and some douche-nozzle was turning right and thought he had the right of way so he threw a cup at my truck. He missed, but he followed me to a parking lot where he got out of his truck to scream at me. I, too, had my son with me at the time... he was 12 or 13, so it was a good 10 years ago.

I just looked at the dude and said, "I had a green light. Yours was red, so you're wrong, now leave before you get in trouble".

My son, who knows me very well, said "Dad, I am so proud of you for not beating him up".

Good move MACS, as hard as it is to keep calm when people are acting like JackA$$es when there is a kid its good to take the high ground.

I don't drive my g into manhattan. However, you did the right thing. A guy that does that once, has done it before. One day he will do it to the wrong person, and pay for it.

Some things just aren't worth it. Good call on moving on.

Those are just one of those moments where you scratch your head and say "Are you freaking kidding me?!".

I was about to get out of my car and ready for action. If you were in my shoes, what would you do?

Wash it off and forget about it. Brain cancer, heart disease, starvation - now those are things to get upset over.
