No, its not "basically" nissans g37. It's a FWD, open diff, automatic (cvt) family sedan with sporty intentions. While there is nothing wrong with a maxima, to compare a RWD and fwd car and say they are basically the same is just silly.

 

They will leave the manual, they need it to compete with bmw. I hope they have it or else it's going to be bad and bmw doesn't even offer a sporty sedan anymore with its electronic buick like steering.

 

Update: The guy at the dealership revised his original statement to say "infiniti has advised us that they will not make any 6mt sedans for the 2013 model year". This seems more likely, but AFAIK 2013 is supposed to be a limited run model year anyways, with the new 2014's coming out late spring to summer next year.
