How the Sport package should have come on the sedan

Good-bye chrome around the windows. An all day chore but well worth it. Vinyl applied and it looks great to me.

Well done!! This is a MUST for all sedans IMO. I think the chrome around the windows is kind of ugly.

Nice! Can't tell it's vinyl at all from this pics. Looks very clean, and right on a dark car.

That would have been nice. Something obvious to distinguish it as the Sport model, beyond that sweet, sweet front bumper on the 2010+ Sport Sedan.

Actually, aren't the side-sills slightly larger on the Sport Sedan than otherwise? It's really hard to tell, but that's how it's advertised. I'd have to find a non-sport and compare side-by-side.

It does, chrome always looks right on white (and light silver), and the G doesn't go too crazy w/ the chrome anyhow.

Yes.
I had a non-sport. There is a very noticeable difference especially side by side.

Nice job - I really like the look.

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the hardest) - how difficult was that task? And - where did you get the material, etc, etc...

Thx

I'm assuming you're talking about the black vinyl window trim? If so I have a DIY thread here, it was easy IMO and cost about $20-30 depending on shipping.

Here's the same one on G35 Driver w/ a few pics of others that did it~

I get all my vinyl here, great prices and speedy shipping~make sure you get 3m 1080, it's the best IME.

Question about the vinyl. How does it handle temperature extremes?

Here in Texas, I'm not too concerned about low temps. But - does it loose it's adhesion in high temps? I'm talking 100+...in the shade...for a month or two. In the sun - who knows - lets just call it friggin HOT.

The part being covered is a typical spot for people to push to close the door. Wouldn't want it to slip/slide.

Thoughts?
