You can spend your money any way you want to, but unless you bend down to look under the dash, you are not going to see your metal pedals. I have metal pedals on my mustang, but I never see them, as I don't bend down to look.

That's simply not true. Details matter, and this is a noticeable one. By that logic, why bother brushing your hair? Unless you make the effort to look in the mirror, you are not going to see it anyway.

One month later, and still no pics from Bandit, I see. Or don't see.

I notice the aluminum pedals every time I get in the car and I'm too old to bother bending over to notice.

+1 on that one.

Installe the OEM accent light kit yesterday, and now I can actually see the pedals even better.

Jealous. Always wanted to see what that accent kit was like.

i was thinking of just hooking up a led bulb down there and tapping it to the glove light or something. if you saw the kit Infiniti sells, it's hard to swallow $100+ for it. 2 tiny bulbs and some wires.

Wow. I have to say, I didn't have high expectations compared to the S-Package pedals. But seriously, that looks good. Really good. (In content and execution, Bandit, not photo quality.)

Particularly with the black interior. Very nice.

INFINITI lighting bling in the door sills? Awesome.

Those do look pretty sweet Bandit, can you get a closeup of the dead pedal if you have some time.

Agree John, the lighted door trim w/ the pedals looks just right. I've got the lighted sills so I guess I might have to get the pedals now

I'd also like to see the dead pedal up close.

Definitely do up your pedals, blnewt. On my old car, only the 5.5 Gen Maxima with HLSD got the aluminum pedals. (Or the 2001 Anniversary Edition, or the 2003 Titanium Edition, but that's a lot of arcane info.) Anyway, I loved the look so much that I converted mine over, and couldn't have been happier.

Here's an old pic. I know it's not a G, but it's why I like this little mod. (The dead pedal in this pic is a modified 350Z part.)

it's pretty understated, probably could look a bit better with light interior. as it is, i can see my shoes and the pedals, and my wife can see her feet too.

one strange thing about the accent kit is that the LEDs are directional, only one half of the LED dome actually emits light, so, you can either have it light forward (as the installation instructions dictate), or tilt it forward and slightly out towards the doors (as i did).

took about 3 hours to install, going slow and taking smoke breaks. i bought mine on ebay from Perry Infiniti.

BTW, Rochester, I had the same pedals on my 03.5 G, and loved them. first mod i did, and they lasted almost 8 years without any problems.

Got these pedals today, and I'll be returning them. The aluminum is pretty crappy quality - especially apparent on the brake pedal - it's curved, and you can see the stresses in the aluminum from where it was bent to follow the curve profile. Also, the bolts are too long and are pretty flimsy. I'm pretty sure the bolts and nuts will prevent the gas pedal from being all the way down, unless I cut each bolt. Also, I'm not at all happy about having to screw the dead pedal through the carpet and the floor. In other words, it's $42 for a reason...

Thanks for giving us the heads-up on the overall quality, that did seem like a very cheap deal.
BTW anyone know what the "real" Infiniti pedal covers run? Or do you have to buy the entire pedal assemblies that way?
