I've adjusted it a couple of times following the DIYs here but have never been satisfied. I think my cables are stretching or something since it'll eventually loosen up again after adjusting. To be fair, I am nitpicking since it does hold on the driveway. It's not as confidence inspiring as other cars.
I always felt the same way. One of the weakest e-brakes I've encountered.
Still haven’t made it a habit to park in gear, but I’m almost always parked on a flat surface…
Still loving this combo: OEM G35 shift **** with Redline shift boot
But now contemplating: upgraded clutch pedal and short-throw shifter. It’d be great to feel them before installing, but that’s not gonna happen. So maybe I’ll just roll the dice (both upgrades seem like a pretty safe bet).
Noted, never know when I might be up that way (it’s been a long while, but I may have some work up there at some point).
Well, you're welcome to visit and experience for yourself whether or not these mods are to your liking. You might not like all the NVH in my car, but I would literally bet my retirement that you want the STS and RJM Pedal, you just don't know it yet.
Short rear gears, too. Imagine yourself experiencing the most shocked look on your face you can muster about what is essentially the same car, LOL.

Upgrading the catback has made driving the car a new experience, gears and shifter must bring dramatic effects.
Def enjoy the relatively smooth driving of a mostly stock car. So much so that I’ve written off springs, even sway bars have me concerned about newfound squeaks or rattles.
So for sure sensitive to NVH, I’d prob get so cranky driving around in your car. But it’d be great to experience it, seeing (or feeling) is believing as they say.
Kids that small, amidst a crowd of DC tourists, sounds like a real treat
