G37 Sedan 6MT owners check in....
Emper,
The 6MT has a VLSD rear end and it does well in snow even with good A/S tires. I think it would be excellent with true winter tires. The Infiniti dealer in California put W- rated Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's on mine when they CPO'd it. We get some pretty deep snows here so I was originally planning on getting winter wheels and Blizzaks, but after driving it in snow I decided it was okay with the A/S. Made it through the winter with no problem. Note that I am not recommending this if you get a lot of deep snow. Then it would certainly be worth getting winter tires. Also if conditions are really bad I can always borrow my wife's SUV. Didn't need to this last winter.

These tires are far superior than the OEM Bridgestones
They just couldn't get me up my driveway thru 8" of snow.
Had to shovel the driveway to get my G37S into the garage.

Telcoman,
LOL I have the same problem with my concrete driveway. I find that getting a running start from across the street usually does the trick. One time when we had a deep (like 8") I decided to parallel park at the curb so that I could shovel the driveway. I was sure that I would have to dig the car out from the curb, but no problem. Level and on asphalt it did fine.
Your car looks like a carbon copy of mine. You have the rear spoiler and mud guards. Any other mods?

thanks for the reply gsm026. Very new to this car. The car came with bridgestone lm 60s winters as well ( i believe they were 225/50/18"s 95h) Just need to pick up a set of rims for them and hoping this will do the trick in winter. Any ontario drivers know if these are decent in the snow. thanks Emper
Just picked up a 2009 g37 s 6mt. (43k) and must say I love driving this car. In ontario, so hoping with good winter tires, it will be ok in winter. But who cares, right now this car handles so well and has such power that I am looking for excuses to drive it. Finally understand the advantages of driving a rwd

Pick up some winter tires and wheels. If you do it soon there should be some great deals on used this time of year.

Sad and good news. I picked up what I thought was going to be my wife's daily driver for the next good while in January of this year. I actually travelled over 1100 miles to get the exact car I wanted. We have a 6 and 4 year old so 2 car sets in a 2012 Sport Sedan with 6MT was perfect… until baby #3 surprised us this month. Needless to say the 2012 6MT sedan needs to go unfortunately. Its got every option including black grill, spoiler, LED kick plates, etc… Its going to be tough to part with this one.

Been lurking here about a year or so and have finally decided to join up.
I think I've been bitten by the mod bug, as hard as I tried to avoid it.

Just in time to get rwd instead of awd for winter
Glad to stop lurking and finally participate. I guess the 6mt makes you an enthusiast? since i didnt post anything while driving my 7at for some reason
