Hi guys,

Anyone experienced Navigation screen going black and not responding after starting up the engine?

If I restart the engine it’ll come back on but what is causing this problem?

Thanks.

I saw a thread on here that there are some issues with a few nav systems, mention it to the dealer and they should replace it with a new one. can't seem to find it though, maybe someone else can help

Mine did it once but I had turned the car on/off really quickly and was trying to map out a destination. I don't know if I crashed the Nav and it had to be rebooted but it has been fine ever since.

Mine has done it 2 or 3 times since new. (11k miles). No idea why, but not worth having my dash ripped apart to fix. Maybe I'll bring it up before the warranty is expired.

Mine does this every once in a while when i throw it in reverse and back into first. Everything goes blank. Restarting the car does the trick for me as well.
Sadly dealership said they couldnt.duplicate it so no need to fix/replace.
