should I try a Gunmetal Midnight Grille?

I was always partial to the midnight grille look, which I painted (p-dipped) on my previous G.
Now that I have my gunmetal wheels on, I was thinking that a gunmetal coloured midnight grille might compliment this G. So in the same style as the factory midnight grille, with chrome surrounding gunmetal and keeping the chrome logo.

What do you guys think?

Anyone with Photo shop skills willing to 'paint' the 4 grille bars a Gunmetal colour similar to the wheels?

hmm, what about a black chrome color? I think that'd look pretty good, almost a gunmetal, but would look better with your black car IMO. I'd do the fog surrounds in black chrome as well.

^this could look good, i don't think gunmetal would really work but then again thinking outside of the box is a great thing to do.

i could be wrong!

Try black chrome, i tried two different techniques to achieve the look and it turned out okay IMHO. I did the grille with Niteshades, the headlights with Shadow.

Here are pics of the headlights.

Yes, that's what I was looking for. Thanks.
I'm not sure I like it though.

It would definitely have to be glossy, and matched to the wheels or else it might just end up looking like the OEM Midnight Black grill from far away.
