Plasti-Dip Question

Hey folks, quick question about Plasti-Dip. I've used it in many places, front grill, emblem and recently did my chrome tip on the trunk as well as the bottom of the bumper where the difuser would go. My question is since the bottom part of the bumper is a self-made line and not end to end like other pieces, will a car wash make it rub off when the spinning brushes hit? I just rubbed my finger against the self-made edge and if I do it hard enough it will start to curl and come up.

Has anyone had any experiences with self made lines like this with Plasti-Dip? I know all my other parts that I dipped hold up fine.

I have self made lines on my grill, and it held up through the car wash the other day just fine. The good thing is that it doesn't cost you much if you have to redo the bumper.

Totally, hehe. I was thinking the same thing. Its a $7 fix. I think the brushes are okay, its just hard rubbing that makes the line come up.

you shouldn't be going through a car wash with spinning brushes anyways.

Damn, just when I thought you were on the up-n-up you spring very alarming news on us. Don't EVER take these cars through car washes w/ anything other than water & soap touching your ride. The swirling scratch machines will ruin your clear coat, trust me I found out the hard way. Infiniti paint is some of the most fragile I've ever seen, just look at it the wrong way and a chip will fly off or a swirl appear. I hope I never hear of you running that beautiful car through one of those vandal machines again
And no, I'm not kidding.
