Exclamation Lease termination notice from Infiniti

I need some advice.

I recently leased 2012 G37S by using the Infiniti's pull ahead program and dropped off my 2009 G37 to my local dealer.

Since then I'm getting a certified letter from IFS stating that I terminated my lease early and I just received negative credit reporting stating that I owe them $899 for ending my lease before my contract date.

Is this normal?

What is going on with this program?

I'd definitely be in the finance office at the dealer in the morning, they screwed the paperwork up. Sorry to hear about the trouble they're putting you through. Maybe you'll be able to get some freebies for their screw up, (maintenance plan or something of the sort is what I would ask for).

They f'd up on your paperwork no doubt. And if it did affect your credit, that can take some serious time to undo the damage so you should surely and immediately seek some retribution.

Good luck with it all.

Btw, I hate Infiniti Financial Services...

something definately got messed up, keep in mind though, it might not have been the finance department, a lot of times when things like this happen it is in the business office, it is more common then you think. The reversal will be no problem as it was not your fault, just go in and explain the situation with the notice you received and they will fix it.

I called Infiniti today. They said when people use Pull Ahead program it's normal to send out the Lease Termination Notice and credit will be update with that status. Once they receive the vehicle and all the paper work in turned in they will update the credit showing $0 balance. This normally takes about 30 days, and updating the credit report will take up to 90 days. FML.

I'd call BS on that one, if this was "normal" they should have informed you it would happen when you signed your papers.

I don't recall having this issue when I turned in a lease early under GM's program a few years back...
