How much lower does the lip make the front end? I really like the way it looks, but I find I just barely clear the parking stops without the lip. I don't want to get it then accidentally run it up on a stop and beat it up. I guess you could always argue to just back into a spot and stop worrying about it though.
it lowers it to the point where you WILL hit those parking curbs if you are not careful when parking. Best advice it to stay safe and avoid pulling all the way in. Its hard at first but you get the hang of it. Even with stock suspension the lip does give the front a much lower stance, I can only imagine with the sport suspension how nice the front would look with that chin
Thanks Goonz, I figured it'd be right at the sweet spot to clip the parking stops. I'll have to get used to the car and practice not pulling forward before I get the lip haha.

You have the Sport Package on your car. My understanding was that the Sport Package on the AWD G37xS is that you don't get the 6MT nor the big-brakes... but you still have the sport suspension, only configured a little higher than the RWD car.

Yes? No?
nope, the xS's only have sport seats and sport front fascia..brakes and suspension are not Sport at all in the sport all wheel drives..Sport brakes and sport suspension only come in the RWD Journey with sports package and 6MT..
according to Infiniti's site, the X's Sport package consists of the following:
-18 x 7.5-inch, split 5-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/50R18 V-rated all-season performance tires
-Sport front fascia, side sills and unique sport headlights
-Solid-magnesium paddle shifters
-12-way power driver's sport seat, including manual thigh extension and driver's power torso and thigh side support adjustments; 8-way power front-passenger's sport seat with manual thigh extension
-Aluminum pedals and footrest

Oh. Well, that's a shame about the suspension, and particularly about the brakes. You seem to have a certain attention to details where I'm sure you'd appreciate the sport brakes. Aside from the stopping power, they're quite beautiful.

trust me I do have quite an attention to detail when it comes to little things in my car. I've had sport brakes on my previous coupe, they were aight
It really doesn't make the front end that much lower. I believe it creates an illusion that it's lower. I installed a chin on our sport about a year ago and there's been no issues. I try to stay back from curbs and stops when parking, but in memory lapse cases where I haven't, it has cleared the standard stops.
The lip doesn't really make the front end lower, even when the car is dropped you scrape on the underside not the lip. The only realy way to damage the lip is to pull too far forward or run over something tall enough, if you are dropped.
