Need Help/Advice!

so i know it started a thread already about this but here is my problem. i wanted to get my tail light tinted and i took them to a local body shop and they sprayed them with this tint over spray out of the can. well they were the color i wanted but the finish is not what i am looking for. it came out very dull and almost matte looking and i do not like it. I am looking for a shiny finish. So i called this other place out of state where i will be going next month and I trust them and i know they do a good job and they said the lights will look shiny and match the look of my car. is their anyway to remove this spray on my lights? can they fix them and paint over them? i just dont want to pay for new lights through the dealership and send 600 dollars for brand new lights. any suggestions? thanks

so even though the lights were prayed with the can tint film they can remove it you think? how do you take that off the tail lights? seems pretty tough.called the dealer ship and they said no way you can remove it because if you try you will melt the plastic off the lights and the shop i called said they most likely they can. i just dont want them to mess up my tail lights removing the tint spray and i dont want to buy brand new lights for 600 plus dollars

if they can strip paint from your car, they can remove spray tint from your lights. I personally don't know the process, but I can't imagine it is on permanently.
