Those ceramic coatings are amazing. I have Auto Armor which is now ceramic and the paint has never popped so much. It looks amazing. Added benefit- it is now good to 1,300 degrees so orange rail dust on my white car after a track day is finally a thing of the past. Man did that suck to try to remove before I got the new Auto Armor.

Looks good. I started wrapping my trim this weekend but ended up peeling it off since I think the chrome trim goes better with my silver wheels.

For your car i'd get some nice gloss black 19's

Yeah its really great. I coated my S2000 last year and it made washing it soooo much easier, I knew I had to do it on the G as well. Takes a long time to do it correctly though since you are supposed to clay and compound the entire car before applying.

That initial clay bar routine takes a long time on a white car. The Griot's Garage synthetic clay bar below makes things a lot easier. Now that I have the ceramic coating the bugs come off a lot easier too. When it rains hard it basically rinses off the car. I can now go a month or two between car washes when it rains regularly (which is AMAZING if you know how particular I am about my cars).

Wow, I didn't know that was a thing at all! Ordering one now.

Yeah I'm the same way about my S2000, I always want to keep it clean. With the coating I just power wash it every other week or so. Don't even have to use the wash mitt anymore.

If you still need to clay bar your car at all that Griot's Garage synthetic clay sponge works really well. I used mine when I would wash the car. I would soap it up and wash it and then keep it wet and use the synthetic clay bar to get the rest of the impurities out of the paint. I am not sure if it would strip off the ceramic coating though. If your ceramic coating is good or works up to high temps at track days you should not need to clay it anymore.

Here is the G at Road America last weekend for some IMSA racing and just itching to get on track again. Although I don't think it would stand a chance against that Ford GT.

Had my G for maybe 3/4 months now, having upgraded from a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500. Purchased the 2013 G37x Sedan (7AT) completely stock from a private seller and have since done a few things to it, such as Takeda CAI, Enkei RPF1 18x8.5 wheels, Pilot Sport AS 3+ tires, a simple muffler delete (for now), painted the grill, and just recently got my calipers painted along with a full chrome delete (vinyl wrap, satin black), and lastly the application of Ceramic Pro, which I really, really love. Albeit it cost a bit, but it’s got a 24/7 mirror shine which I’ve absolutely fallen in love with.

Down the line I’m looking to upgrade the sway bars, FI CBE, FI HFC, and pick up a tune. Also considering to lower by maybe an inch max to compensate for the wheels. Any suggestions or comments appreciated.
