Thanks, and yeah I do need to figure out something for that. I can't use closed nuts since I have extended lug studs installed. So I either need some very long closed lug or maybe get a cap for my current lugs.
Just use a small epoxy brush or q-tip and coat the inside of each lug nut with Permatex anti-seize... Its a bit tedious and time consuming, but you only have to do it once every couple of years. I had the same issue and this solved the rusting problem for me.

Might just do this. the anti-seize i have is silver but that will still look better than rust

Yeah, the silver stuff is what I used too. My old lugnuts were gunmetal and you really didn't notice the silver once it was brushed on. I just got tired of the rusty water dripping out every time I washed the car.
