Looks good Kwickenstein, are those 20s off of a FX45 (or whatever Q they're calling it now)?

HAHA! No argument there. I just prefer black cars for some reason. I'm a neutral color sorta car guy.

Thanks! I scoured the ads from San Diego to Sacramento to find it. I literally looked at and/or drove over 25 cars before I finally found this. Flew up to Sac (sight unseen) on a Saturday morning, drove it home that afternoon in time for dinner.

I actually got it that way. I believe they were pulled from an M37 on the lot. It had rear end damage before, so it's also (obviously) missing the sensor bumper - cheap/ignorant repair by shop. Sonar is active, I just have to replace with the correct bumper.

New ride looks great, Cwickenstein! Congrats! Guessing its a 6MT and that's why you had so much trouble tracking one down?

And here I am with my Obsidian Black car wishing i was Blue Slate, or even better would be Graphite Shadow. I'm never buying another black car, although I also said that after my last black car.

Maybe spacers in the front?

Thinking of a spacer for the front - 10 or 15mm??

Hard to tell from those angles, but I think it looks fine as is. I ran 15mm spacers with 20"s on my G, I dont recommend it. A little bit of tuck up front is fine.
If you do decide to go that way, you'll need extended studs for the 10mm, and if you want 15mm, the hardware is so flimsy (because of the thickness) after taking them off and putting them back on a few times, they become really sketchy.

Same here. He asked a question about spacers, but showed profile pictures, which doesn't make sense. I think it looks fine and flush as is, and if anything about a 1/4" to 1/2" too low in the rear.

Unless he wants it to poke? Maybe that's his thing.

Do you mean the little half-height lugnuts for the spacer adapters? Yeah, they suck. Toss them in the trash and buy some quality spline-drive, open-ended lugnuts.

What's the offset? Offset, tire size, and ride height play a big difference.

Thanks Joe! You helped a lot when it came to asking on different set ups. In the future hopefully I’ll get coilovers and go lower in the front.

Thanks!

Nah, it's the 7 spd. But to find a black on black *S* with ~50k miles with as many options as this one has & in good shape IS tough in my my $$$ range. I found a couple that sold quick. Almost got a white/cream, but I think I would have hated it once I looked at the stains. I found a couple 35s that were either beat up or high mileage (or both) but this one was the best one of ALL of them after I had nearly given up. Never once found a 6MT sedan in my area! My back is jacked so I wanted to stay away from manual. I just sold a 6mt '08 S2k CR hardtop. That was a hassle to drive and beat me up on long roads. Fun AF, but I drive for a living and feeling old! haha
