Looks like you crushed the underside lip there, malcala622. Those concrete bump stops are a b1tch.
Not that I haven't done it countless times, too. Although after lowering the car I've become pretty conscious about keeping my distance.
Very clean... Vibrant Red with Black Leather is a fantastic combination. 17" rims, not so much. Got plans?

No plans yet on the 17" rims. Maybe just a paint refinish.
Thanks for the comments
Thanks for all the nice comments guys! I have plans to finish the interior to better match the seats before Winter is over. Basically just some door panel and center console work. Haven't decided if I'm gonna have the back seats done to match yet or not. I spent too much over the holidays so my budget may not be there to have it all done this time around.
I haven't tracked the car in a few years since the tranny slips quite a bit when I try and use all the power. I have plans to have Level 10 build up the tranny sometime later this year, but that involves a lot of work, downtime, and money... So that just seems to keep getting put off. If I ever do get the tranny done then I will start tracking the car again.
I've also just started another project with my Porsche where I'll be putting an LS3 V8 in it, so that may trump all future projects with the G.
The main reason for the new seats is comfort. I have a very bad back and the OEM sport seats were absolutely awful for it. It had gotten to the point where I couldn't even drive the car for more than an hour at a time. These new seats a super comfortable... at least for me, but my wife doesn't seem to think so. LOL
Thanks, John. That means a lot coming from you!
Hahaha. Yeah, I was originally afraid they wouldn't fit, but I was able to squeeze them in there... just barely! It also turned out that the shoulder bolsters work perfectly to hold the shoulder belts in place.

I was also thinking of swapping out the seat belts for some black OEM belts. I can get them for less than $100 for both from belts from a dismantler. What do you guys think... stick with the original stone grey (taupe) color belts or swap out for black belts? If you'll notice I already put the black seat belt latches/releases in.

I hear you on the bad back. I have had issues in that department as well, but the stock Infiniti seats are a-ok for me. I am surprised those seats work for you with the tall bottom side bolsters. The Recaros in my Evo had a similar setup and I would twist the hell out of my back trying to get in and out.

Love that diamond stitching.
Thanks for the input. That's pretty much exactly what I was thinking. Especially since the color of the OEM grey belts is a bit different from the grey on the seats I think the black belts would work better.
The diamond stitching is probably what I like the most about the seats... that and the support they give my back. I also plan to add some diamond stitching to the front door panels (piece right above the arm rest) and am also considering have the top of the center console armrest done in diamond stitched black leather with grey on the sides... but haven't made a final decision yet Just don't want to go overboard with the diamond stitching though.
Beautiful jsheets!!! I'm also curious as to why you wouldn't install an air kit.
What kind of Porsche are you shoehorning in a V8?

It's not so much the lower cushion side bolsters as it is the extra back support that the Cobra seats have. The OEM Sport seats just seemed to sag or squish too much which didn't give my back the support it needs. I'm actually used to dealing with the side bolsters since my Porsche has OEM Recaros.
The Porsche is a 1991 S2 Convertible, so front engine with plenty of room for a 6.2L LS3 V8!
Here's a pic of the engine bay as it sits today:

And here's what it will end up looking like with an LS V8 in it:

A 944 with a V8- I figured it was that or a 928, but for what 928's are bringing lately I was going to have to call you crazy for changing the motor. That looks like a fun track car.
Oh and regarding seat belts, of course you want black belts. Who doesn't want a black belt.
Weird, I now have the lumbar support cranked up on the stock seats and it feels great for me. Initially it felt like way too much lumbar support, but now it is just right. Oddly enough, the E46 M3 I had easily had the world's most uncomfortable seats. 8 million adjustments and none of them were comfortable. Maybe that was the start of my back issues.

Funny you say that because we either have completely different body types or we are exact opposites, because my E36 M3 had some of the most comfortable seats I've every had in a car (only the seats in my Ram 2500 are better).
Yeah, the 928's have really stepped up in value over the past several years. But since the 944 S2's are so rare their values are really starting to jump up there too. One of my forum buddies just sold his 1990 S2 for $23K and for 2016 the 1991 S2's went going for $21K - $35K at auction with the last 1991 Cabriolet going for $30,648 at a 2016 Silverstone auction. Interestingly, the two V8 converted S2's I've seen at auction have both gone for over $45K, so it is one car that you tend to get you $$ back when you do an engine swap.
Almost missed this comment. LMAO! My Niece actually just got her double black belt in Taekwondo, so it would be fun to actually be able to tell her that I now have double black belts.

That was the original plan until my buddy who is on air couldn't get in even fully aired up.
