My new baby
Just bought her on Saturday. 2013 G37 with 18,500 miles. So fun to ride. I've been doing my homework on the G37 for about four months. Finally pulled the trigger when I got offered a great price on my 2003 Camry. I'm hoping to get a lot of advice from this forum and other G37 drivers.
Separate note: I bought this as a lease return. At 18k miles the brakes feel soft at first but really grip when pushing down on them. Is this normal? Also the engine is really strong and transmission shifts fine but there is a hum to the transmission when in low gears 1-3. I might be just paranoid since this is a sports car and my biggest car purchase to date but either way I'm under warranty till the end of 2016. I have a scheduled oil change on Wednesday at the Infiniti dealership and I'm thinking about bringing it up.
P.S. I'm calling the call Femur since my dad dislocated his knee when walking out to view the new car. Got to drive him to the hospital in the new G. Felt like I owed him that much lol. I have pics of the knee if you guys want it.
Love the forum, hope to contribute someday.
Regards

Are you sure it's the transmission? I had a similar noise at low RPM's and it ended up being the power steering pump, which is common with our cars. They replaced it for free under warranty. Make sure they sit in the car with you to hear what you're hearing.
And as blnewt said, don't let them wash your car lol! I actually had the lady at the dealership put a note in their system that comes up in huge bold letters whenever I take mine in hahaha!

Hooptie.
