My 2010 had been so beaten up it looked like it was 10 years old. Its black and this was my first black car, I had no idea that black was such a pain.

Anyway someone gave me a huge dent at the drivers door when the car was parked at about 5 mnths old, my wife gave the arch above the right front wheel another dent when reversing from the garage (pic 3), I closed the garage door prematurely and had 3 stripes on my rear bumper (pic 1), I scratched my car against another car and had white stuff on my right hand rear door (pic 2), some teeenager rear ended me and gave me more stripes on the rear bumper, some dude in a minivan just turned into my lane and gave me a big dent on my left rear door (last pic).

Anyway, as you can imagine, the car needed help. There were all small dents but the car looked like it had an STD, took it to MAACO and $1,200 later, the car looks all new again. No dent or scratch to be seen anyway. I can still smell the new paint and it feels like I have a new car.











Thought I would share, I promised her I will take care of her black paint from now on, want to make sure she looks good every day.

1200 is cheap what all was painted? the previous owner of my OB g37S was a piece of **** and let the car get covered in bird **** and then let it eat through the paint. so now i have to repaint the whole front clip rear drivers quarter trunk spoiler and roof and im getting charged 2200

 

Try MAACO, I thought I needed 5k to repair the car and was surprised at the qoute they gave me, they only painted the parts that were repaired though.

I heard MAACO had ****ty paint that will peel and discolor in a couple years...hence so cheap. But I guess after all the dingers your car went through, anything would be nice.

 

No offense...but you've had more crap happen to your car in the last year than I've experienced in the last ten years combined.....are you distracted or just incredibly unlucky???

 

Exactly...I don't think I've had that much happen to all of my cars in the last 20 years. WOW

This is the 5th car I have owned to date, currently I also have a 2011 x5 which is in pristine condition. I don't believe in curses so that leaves being distracted, but how would that explain the other 4 cars. Anyway the best thing to do is say ...k it, and hope the "new" G will stay cool until the lease expires in a years time.
