Pull off the bumper cover and repaint - it will be fine.

Speaking about accidents...

2 month old 2012 G37xS... t-boned a car who jumped a light and decided to stop in front of me. Easily the worst day of my life... Been in the body shop for 2.5 weeks, 13k in damage, all front end obviously, except for the body pieces that shift. I was found 100% not at fault, which is very surprising for NY state. Driver airbag deployed, new headlights, sport bumper, bumper support, chin spoiler, upper and lower grille, and everything else inside.

i feel for your guys, but i have to say, they car held up and did what it was supposed to do. I told the body shop to expect me to go over the car "with a fined-toothed comb" when i come to pick it up. Always make sure to check all of the gaps. Something worth noting... my trunk shifted all the way to one side.

Mines fixed, I can't see any flaws so I'm happy. It was just surface damage so it was a quick 1 day fix!

Good to hear everyone is ok...but this kind of stuff is getting out of control, mostly because of people texting while driving.

Almost any day that I'm driving in the DFW area I see people almost in a wreck because of what looks like texting. I've at times actually seen wrecks happen from what looked like texting...

It's the thing I watch out for most when driving...anytime I stop anymore I am constantly checking my mirror for the vehicle behind me.

I'm in the same county as you... what freeway were you on?

Sorry to hear this, man. We put so much time and effort, not to mention pride, in our cars and some tool ruins it.

Hey man glad you're safe that's the most important thing and good job on the fast reflexes of moving out of the way, I always check my rearview for the peeps behind me at a red...
btw 1 day is quick for a fix so it's good to know it wasn't serious
