HI All,

I noticed watching the European Infiniti G video that the car has side badges on the left and right fender pannels. I can't make out in the video what the badge says, but I think it looks kind of cool. I woud like to research this a little more - I might be interested in putting these on my G37. Is anybody familiar with this "European Badge"?

are you sure it's not the side blinkers that they have there?

 

As mentioned, it's possibly the side markers you noticed. They also get front (and rear) parking sensors, heated/electrically folding exterior mirrors, headlight washers and they also still get the first aid kit with safety triangle.

 

Thank you for the info. I think it looks like an emblem, but i could be mistaken. If you go to Infiniti UK and watch the video for the G, you can see what I mean.

The OP is asking about the fender panels. Headlight washers are below the headlights in the bumper.

 

i wish i had the sidemarkers

 

+1 ... I wish Infiniti would include these features on US model G's!!

 

I wish someone could figure out how to get the folding mirrors to work on the US model.

 

I would like the the sidemarkers, front parking sensors and electric folding mirrors. the headlight washers i could do without. pretty useless where I am in S. Cal. i have them on the audi and never even noticed them.

 

Perhaps you already have them. U.S. law requires certain features for headlights and the requirement for side amber lighting in the front (and red in the rear). On our G’s these features are combined in the headlight housing. Maybe on European G’s, not having the amber feature as part of their headlight housing; they’re added on the side as a similar safety item.

 

US model G's have only an amber side marker (integrated into the headlamp), Euro and Asia spec G's have a dedicated turn signal incorporated on the side of the fender. Separate locations and separate functions.
