Good choice between the two. Neither would be my first choice "muscle car" but the Maverick is definitely the better choice. Mustangs REALLY took a dive there through the 70's and looked TERRIBLE.

Have fun.

From: Framingham Ma,
Like to two guys above me , Neither would I look at but to each they own,, Maverick, Mustang to terrible looking and the 302 is a GOOD motor. If your looing Ford, Look at Mercury also. I had a 70 Cougan vert( 3200 made) Hide away head lights with a 351W rebuilt and sold with no motor( Brothers friend blew it up- no coolant and lond story). $12k. But car was beautiful..

Google Images

Love the Chevelle Idea tho

So far the maverick is awesome. It has plenty of power for the year and built. I'm gonna start fixing up the body and paint candy red and then then rebuilt the engine and tranny with turbochargers. It's gonna be fun and I can't wait for all of this. I'll keep you guys posted.

Definitely keep us posted. Though I'm not sure it would fit in the G37 sedan category :/

I am a big time Ford fan but wouldn't touch either of those cars. Hope you have fun with it. I have seen Mavericks done up nice from time to time.

I have to say out of all the Mustangs and such I owned, my favorite was a 69 Cougar. Pretty much a Mustang with a different, more classy body. Kind of ironic that when looking at 370Z's we ended up with a G37...................pretty much the same car just more classy! lol

Oh and it should have been posted in: https://www.myg37.com/forums/other-cars-16/
