Been doing some heavy research to see if I can save money and install the front chin sport spoiler myself on a 2011 G37xS Sedan Sport. I found the spoiler for $398 online w/shipping. Infiniti dealer wants $270 to install! I've read online its an easy install but when I called infiniti they said the whole front bumper has to be taken off to install and will take 2hrs. Does anyone have any info on how to install (easy or hard?) if I can do it myself I'd of course like to save the cash. Thanks!

 

the front chin spoiler is very easy to install. Its just 2 screws on each side of the spoiler and double sided tape so it can attach to the lower lip of the bumper. if the dealership said that they have to take the entire bumper off then they are selling you a bunch of BS. Just save yourself some money and do it yourself. It should only take you about an 1 hour to install it.

Total rip off, I had a body shop do it for $50

What spolier? LOL $270 paid less to have my gen 3's installed at the dealer.

 

Beshoff Infiniti sells the sport model, front chin spoiler on Ebay for $287 plus $145 shipping...pretty good.
