Carnetix Power supply Converter $60
HDMI to RCA Video Converter $45
Carnetix MacPac $30
JL power cable $14 (on sale at Crutchfield)
Video and Audo cable $ Free (had them on hand)
Power switch $6

Total Invested "so far " $155

A typical non mac Carputer installed will run you about $400 depending on the specs you want!
