Stolen Emblem!!

Grrrr! 59 yr old female here raging over stolen front grille emblem!

I just hand-washed our 2009 G37x and after I backed it into it's spot, I stood back to admire my work & noticed something looked odd..

Sure enuff, some jerk stole the front emblem also totally scratched up the grill - screwdriver or whatever he used to get it off.

Where do I get one of these? Will I be able to put it on myself or does it take glue or screws? Any advice appreciated. Hubby clueless about cars...

This is very odd as we live at the end of a shared driveway so I'm suspecting some neighborhood kid was out on a scavenger hunt or something...it's that time of year.

By why me? (2 weeks ago, another jerk pushed a shopping cart into front driver's side; hubby parked as far away as possible to avoid just such a thing and came out to find cart against car! Three dents!)

LOL why did they use a screwdriver? It's held on by clips that you can actually unhook with the grille still on. Buy it at the dealer it's like 40 bucks. Pushes right on.

Better yet... find an emblemless grill. They look better, in my opinion. Sorry to hear about this, though.

It's simply held together by two clips, so it snaps right in place. Definitely call your local dealer and let them know you need a replacement. Share your story, hopefully they are nice enough to give you a good discount on a new grill.

Not clipped, glued on, according to my dealer I called today.

And the price is $75...plus CT tax!

glad someone noticed! It took me 2 hours as I also vacuumed whole damn car, including the trunk, removed all mats AND I even got into the grimy goop that surrounds the back trunk lifting levers! (we don't have a garage so disgusting mess - had to get my playtex gloves out!)

p.s. did role reversal w/hubby long time ago; he now shops/cooks & I do cars/windows..and soon I'll look like a man, according to the laws of nature (and if I cut my hair like most old women do...not happening)
