Concerned - Not enough highway miles
My workplace is 20 miles away from home. Out of this 10 is a local highway. In the morning, I just cruse through no traffic. On the way back, its almost stop n go traffic.
I dont have too many drives on a regular basis where the car can cruise at 65
for any period of time. Should I be concerned that most of my driving is short and that I gun the car 7/10 times ?

I want to retain the same level of performance in my G that I have today (I love every minute of it) , 5 years from now.
If that means, I have to incorporate simple changes like driving my G to Dallas or Houston on a family trip instead of my luxury SUV (way more comfortable), then I will.
I cant help it but I do feel like babying the car

man i wish i had a 20 mile drive to work. you dont want to be doing a 50 mile drive each way like I do through highways that turn into parking lots. hopefully i get this new job for it to be 15 miles each way.

No offense to you but NJ traffic sucks man. I loved in Philly for a few years, always dreaded driving via Garden St Pkway and NJTP in peak times.. Really rude drivers.
so u were one of those ppl who would go the exact speed limit in the fast lane, FOR SHAME ON YOU!!!! that's my biggest pet peeve driving to work in the mornings, out of state drivers going into the fast lane and not following the NJ 10+ over the speed limit in the fast lane. the other is jerkoffs not using their turn signals(NEW YORKERS)
