That should reduce the draw slightly because the security system won't be engaged. But the keyless entry will still be active and monitoring for events.

 

I called the dealership (Competition Infiniti of Smithtown) and they told me that the required battery specs were 850 cranking amps and 690 cold cranking amps. The battery that I got at Advanced Auto Parts was only 800ca and 640 cca.
