Did the 2010 G37xS have Intelligent AWD? Or are the front wheels always engaged? Sorry - my firesuit is already on

x = Intelligent AWD. Front wheels get kicked in when the AWD is needed or when you just drive off at the low speed.

Yes, it has intelligent AWD. Most of the time, the car is 100% rwd until slippage occurs and then power is added to the front wheels to a maximum of 50% front/rear.

If only the car came with some sort of "manual" or "user guide" that explained these things. Failing that, it would be cool if there was a way to search forums like this, or even the internet in general, to find answers to questions like this.

Again - sorry for the question. Was just wanting to confirm that the AWD was the same on the 2010 model as the 2011 model.

Thanks all.
