2011 G37x quiet exhaust otpions

What is the quietest aftermarket exhaust option? Just a bit louder than stock would be ideal for me, so that's what I'm looking for.

From what I've found, the only options for an awd are:
Tanabe axle-back.
Stillen cat-back.
Invidia cat-back.
Anything else?

Can anyone who has heard these personally rank them by sound levels? Youtube vids aren't consistent enough.

Thanks.

im lookin for the same sound.a little louder than stock but nothing crazy loud.i really like the stock sound but wanna enhance it a little.i was leaning towards the invidia or stillen but was also wondering which exhaust would add the most hp.i think us x owners are limited for options.

I think you should stick with axle-back options like Tanabe

Get invidia, its quiet and its an actual catback. Axlebacks are complitely useless performance wise.

Thanks for the feedback. And in the few responses so far, there are already different opinions.

Let me clarify, I'm just looking for the quietest aftermarket exhaust available. Changing the appearance and sound are my goals with this.

A HFC is not something I'm interested in doing on this car. Choosing between a cat-back vs an axle-back system for the performance gains is irrelevant to me. I'm not interested in extracting every bit of performance out of this car. It seems strange that a full cat-back (Invidia) is actually quieter than an axle-back (tanabe) so that's why I would like feedback from people who have actually heard these systems personally. Depending on which post I read and which YouTube video I watch, the sound results are different.

You sound just like me about a year ago. I think I posted the same thread . I went with Tanabe mufflers. They are not loud at all. With the windows closed, you barely notice them. With the windows open they sound best from 3000-5000 rpms. Very mild exhaust. They just enhance the signature VQ sound a bit more than stock. Full exhaust is a waste of money unless you plan on forced induction down the road. The install on the Tanabe is 30-45 min. job.

Is there any adjustable exhaust solution out there for our cars so that we can open / close butterfly valves to increase / reduce exhaust noise?
