IPL Sedan?

My father has the M37x, so I've driven it quite a bit. It's a real technological marvel to be honest. All of the safety features, the automatic braking, blind-spot, lane departure, etc. It's all very cool and fun, but it really is a boat on the road. I enjoy driving it on the highway because it handles well and is a very comfortable cruiser. That being said, I always look forward to getting back into my car. The G is a much more agile car that handles the road with more precision and feedback. It's also feels substantially faster and lighter than the M. They really are two cars with two different purposes. The M is a luxury machine that pampers the driver - not really intended for spirited driving in my opinion. The G is a much more aggressive machine that can also be laid back and luxurious, just not nearly as much as the M. Feature for feature, the G can't compete with the M, but I'd personally take the G and pocket the remaining $$. If you care, I get 23 mpg on my G and 19.5 on the M.

I dove the 2011 7AT IPL and 2011 G37S 7AT..
Both feel the same! my G37S has very tight setup on it.. But anyone here notice that IPL shares the same control layout as G37XS? my 2011 G37S does not have missing snow button as to the IPL does.

IPL = epic fail
At a $50,000 price point, you can start looking at an M3 in the low to mid $60,000s after you beat them up on the price. From what my dealer told me, they aren't budging on the IPL's price.

they will always say that but get yourself there and working a deal, they will budge. IPL is not as scarce as most dealers are making them. Now with that said don't expect to pay below invoice. On these right now an invoice deal is more then fair. low to mid sixties is a lot higher then 50k (47 after you negotiate) and again if your going to drop 48k on an aero coupe (because its the car you want) why not bump up to the IPL?

You have to rememeber, Infiniti built this car to a specific price point. Nat Mason, the IPL Brand manager even said that no one would pay $65,000+ for an M3 competitor so it was pointless to build one.
IPL is not meant to be the equivalent of Mercedes-Benz AMG or BMW M... "Listen, we could have developed a new G Coupe with our 5.0-liter or the 5.6 [V8]. But at what cost? Sure, it would have been a halo performance vehicle, but traditionally those don't sell well." In other words, we all need to remember that the auto business remains a for-profit enterprise.

get the limited edition sedan. very similar to the anniversary edition. you get red leather which is a hot thing to have when no one else has it. Good luck finding one too and it comes with the ipl exterior color malbec black. Also price is about the same as a loaded g sedan and if you do a couple things to it you would blow the ipl coupe away.
