typical monday ish

so i pulls up to the grocery store and find a nice end spot. im in there 10 minutes then im back out and i drive home to my office. I pull into the garage, get out and im shocked to see a big mf'ing dent in the g. now i just detailed it yesturday and its been in the garage since so this just happen'd. the crazy thing is the damage is on the passenger side and i was parked in a end spot without a stall on that side. had to have been a fudging shopping cart that smacked it good. cart guy or jealous sh#face must have then removed the cart from my bent over G because i did not notice a thing till i got home. and it happens as easy as that folks!

ok so this is 2 days after we got back from our week long vacation to discover our basement flooded and 2 new sump pumps. oh and our 300 dollar camera ceased to operate while we were away.

im happy the kids and wife are healthy and fine but i am very angry at this point.

anyway my bday is at the end of the month so i think my present will be from the paintless dent removal shop.

Haters are everywhere man, especially at the grocery shops. A guy driving a Chevy Avalanche once drove into my car intentionally. I will admit that I may have been in a grey area in terms of whether I cut him off or not but traffic was moving very slowly, bumper to bumper and if it were me driving his Avalanche, I would have stopped and allowed the car to go through. He chose to just drive into my car. He had Detroit number plates ( I am in the North East) and his friend came out and said something like "Is that an Import, yes it's an import and that's a bonus, YAY!!". So don't take it too seriously, just move on and get your car sorted, just be glad you are not in a place where YOU are the hater

Don't even get me started man, but trust me at times stereotypes are not far away from the truth, "sometimes"

so i took my car to the only 2 places in my area that do PDR. the one shop in naperville told me they couldnt do PDR with my damage and they would have to strip sand repaint blend the fenders etc. estimate was 1100 . after that i took it to a place very close to where i live and i seem more comfortable all around with this shop. they have a pdr guy who comes into the shop independent and does the work but hes not there all the time. the guy for the body shop gave me a estimate of 400 and told me his guy would be there to look and possibly take care of my car when he showed up later today. i have a 2 inch long vertical crease at the top of the passenger side door. he said that would be easy to get out. the other dent at the bottom of the door is about a inch and a half in diameter and is fairly deep. he said its the bottom dent which will be quite difficult to get out and thats why hes charging me alot.

what are your guys opinions on this? sh#$ this whole time im worried about people opening their door into the g and neglecting to assess the shopping cart threat. i will be like those guys in the movie "the office" when they beat up the copy machine but instead i will be beating up a shopping cart.

It's a shame people have no respect for other people's property these days. Good luck with the repair.

Yeah, pretty frustrating to have to worry about this every time you park your car in a public lot. I just discovered a dent right on the crease of the upper front fender, probably from a shopping cart. That's the problem with parking further out in the lot, it's like a sitting duck for runaway shopping carts and haters.

Then you have people that ask for it. Saw a G yesterday with personalized plates that read: NOT YRZ. Then on the plate frame at the bottom is said: JEALOUS? First thing that entered my mind was, man, you are open season for haters. Then you have those of us that are mellow and minding our own business and dents appear out of nowhere. Oh well, such is life. Best of luck with your repairs.

This all goes back to the general lack of respect people have. Everyone is only out for themselves and instead of at the least writing a note or apologizing to you they have to roll out and then pretend you aren't left with the damage. Sucks bro, good luck with your repairs.
